Obituary
Fairbury – Virginia Forrer, 91, of Fairbury, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at her residence.
Cremation has been accorded. Inurnment will be at Fairview Memorial Park, DeKalb.
Memorials may be made in Virginia's name to the Fairbury United Methodist Church.
Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
Virginia was born January 20, 1921 in Leland the daughter of Vallie R. and Mabel V. Foosand Pickett.
She married Lester Forrer September 7, 1939. He died February 26, 2008.
Surviving are her niece, Vernadel (Andy) Schavland of Rockford; step-granddaughter, Jenni Amand of Nantucket, MA; special friends, Carl and Diana Tull and Rich and Elsie Schaffer all of Fairbury.
Virginia was preceded in death by one son Richard Paul Forrer and her brother Charles R. Pickett.
Virginia was a member of the Fairbury United Methodist, Sunbeam Club, Jolly Jokes, and Rebekkahs of Fairbury.
