Wanda L. Stepro, 93 of rural Pontiac, passed away at 3:09 am, Sunday, October 10, 2021 at her residence in rural Pontiac.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family of Wanda Stepro or Raccoon Ridge Rehab, rural Chenoa.

Mrs. Stepro was born June 17, 1928 in Rockport, IN; the daughter of Arlie and Ruby (Abshire) Jones.  She married John W. Stepro on April 20, 1946 in Owensboro, KY.  Her husband preceded her in death January 3, 2017.  Her parents, four brothers, one son, Leon Stepro, 1 great grandchild and 1 great-great grandchild also preceded her in death.

Survivors include three children, Darwin "Buck" Stepro of Chenoa; Carolyn "Kasey" Stepro and Paula Fry both of Pontiac; one brother, Glenn (Shirley Ann) Jones, two sisters, Norma Goodwin and Deloreus Wangler, all of Rockport, IN; 17grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren, her loyal K-9 - Gal Pal, "Bella" and her cats.

Wanda raised her family as a CNA at Livingston Manor and later in the printing industry as a Binder.  She enjoyed NASCAR, "Jimmie Johnson", the Chicago Cubs and a lover of all types of animals. Wanda's care-givers; Kasey, Paula and "The Rock", Jean will deeply miss the time spent caring for their mother - grandmother the past 10 years in her own home.  So very thankful for the opportunity to Love and Care for the one that gave them and taught them so much about life.
