Obituary

Fairbury – Warren Edward Hartman, 90, of Fairbury, passed away at 8:05am, Friday, November 1, 2013 at Fairview Haven Retirement Community, Fairbury.

Funeral will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the Apostolic Christian Church, Fairbury with Ministers of the church officiating.

Burial will be in Fairbury Apostolic Christian Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4-8:00pm, Monday, November 4, 2013 at the Apostolic Christian Church Fellowship Hall, Fairbury and 9:00 to 9:45 am on Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be made to Fairview Haven Retirement Community, Fairbury.

Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.

Warren was born October 7, 1923 in Strawn the son of Silas and Elizabeth Kuenzi Hartman. He married Mable Winterland on December 7, 1947 in Fairbury, IL. She died on July 5, 1964. He then married Louise Menold on September 14, 1966 in Peoria. She survives in Fairbury.

Also surviving are four children; Linda (Neil) Schmidgall of Morris, MN, Ronald (Caroline) Hartman of Forrest, Ann Kachelmuss of Bloomington and Nora (Mike) Langan of Lakewood; grandchildren; Paul (Shawn) Schmidgall of Morris, MN, Beth (Doug) Rinkenberger of Fairbury, Rita (Eric) Eisenmann of Forrest, Mary (Ben) Erholtz of Morris, MN, Lori (Delayne) Stickling of Bloomington, Lisa (Bryan) Tolifson of Millerville, MN, Alan (Danielle) Schmidgall of Morris, MN, Tami Leigh of Pontiac, Ronda Hartman of Hudson, Colene (Ed) Smith of LaPlata, Md, Warren Hartman of Normal, Craig (Tami) Kachelmuss of Heyworth, Ryan (Haley) Kachelmuss of McLean, Aaron Kachelmuss of Bloomington, Katy Langan of Charleston, Cody Langan of Carbondale, and Kary Langan of Lakewood; 27 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, a twin brother, Wayne (Charlotte) Hartman, Racine, WI, brother, Donald (Jo) Hartman, Bloomington, IL, two sisters, Gladys (Don) Memler, Downers Grove, IL , Betty Hibner, Naperville, IL and sister-in-law, Pat Hartman, Fairbury, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters, and one great granddaughter.

Warren was a 1941 graduate of Strawn High School. He was a lifelong farmer and worked construction.

He spent his retirement years helping others.
