Wayne Williams 86, of Fairbury, formerly of Colfax, died March 7, 2007 at 4:45AM at OSF St. James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center, Pontiac.
Cremation will be accorded. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home in Colfax is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes or American Heart Associations.
Wayne was born October 8, 1920 in Cropsey a son of Edward and Mattie Harms Williams. They preceded him in death. He married Maxine Smith. She survives in Colfax.
Also surviving is one step-son Jimmy (Pamela) Nagel of Bloomington. He was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
Wayne was a farmer in the Anchor area for many years. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in WWII. He is a member of the American Legion in Colfax.
