Obituary
Weldon Lee "Pete" Stahl, 83, Fairbury died at 11:15pm Friday, October 3, 2014 at Asta Care Center, Pontiac.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with Pastor Floyd Blackard officiating. Burial will be in Avoca Twp. Cemetery, Fairbury.
Visitation will be 5-7pm Monday, October 6, 2014 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. The family suggest memorials be given to the Livingston County Humane Society.
Mr. Stahl was born October 14, 1930 in Arkansas the son of Roy and Mabel Corban Stahl. He married Marie Giancarli on April 15, 1971. She survives in Fairbury, IL.
Also surviving are their children, Janice (Mike) Murphy, Bloomington, IL, Steve Stahl, Onarga, IL, Candace Stahl, Novato, CA, Sylvia (Joe) Penrod, Bloomington, IL, Julie (Tim) Rathbun, Pekin, IL, Carla (Michael) Murray, Ft. Myers, FL, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by two brothers and two sons, Jerry and Don Stahl.
