Wilbert Porter's Obituary
Colfax – Wilbert Porter, 72, of Colfax passed away November 4, 2009 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Funeral will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax with visitation one hour prior.
Burial will be in Bentown Cemetery, Bentown.
Wilbert was born August 21, 1937 in Vandalia the son of James and Emma Horn Porter. They preceded him in death along with one brother and one sister.
Surviving are his son David (Laura) Porter of Cooksville and daughter Christy (Lucien) Jackson of Bloomington; grandchildren, Mary Ann (Ryan) Bottles of Colfax, Ann Marie Porter and David William Porter both of Cooksville, and Madison Jackson of Bloomington; great-grandchild, Dalton O'Neal Porter; brother John Porter of Vandalia; sisters Alice Davidson of Vandalia, Helen Bouyard of Brownstown and Shirley Bean of Decatur.
Wilbert was a farmer in the McLean County area for many years.
Memorials may be made to the family.
