Obituary
William C. Adams, 87 life-long resident of Chenoa, passed away at 3:45 am, Friday, May 3, 2013 at Heartland Manor Care, Normal.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 5 pm, Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa with Pastor Christian Ricker officiating.
There will be a visitation from 3 to 5 pm prior to the service also at the memorial home in Chenoa. A special celebration of his life will also take place at Bill's residence in Chenoa on his favorite holiday July 4th, 2013.
Bill was born April 17, 1926 in Chenoa; the son of Samuel M. and Lavera (Caldwell) Adams. He married Anna E. Geistlinger on August 14, 1946 in Pontiac. She passed away on May 18, 2010.
Survivors include his children; Michael Adams of Chesterfield, VA; Randy (Patty) Adams, Linda (Tom) Trueheart both of Normal; Sam Adams, and daughter in-law, Adelaida Gulfan both of Kona, HI; ten grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren, two brothers, Robert "Bob" Adams of Clinton Township, MI; Jack (Maris) Adams of Des Moines, IA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Harriet and Doris.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be directed to Heartland Manor Care, Normal or the charity of donor's choice.
