William "Bud" Bagley Jr., 70, of Chenoa, died at 6:52 pm, Sunday, November 16, 2008 at Audrain Medical Center, Mexico, MO.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 pm, Thursday, November 20, 2008 at the Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa.
His funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, November 21, 2008 also at the memorial home in Chenoa with Rev. Gretchen Steinbaugh officiating. Burial will follow in Chenoa Cemetery, Chenoa. The family requests that those attending dress in casual attire.
Bud was born June 11, 1938 in Centralia, MO a son to William R. and Mary Davis Bagley Sr. He married Donna Crouch on September 27, 1957 in Pontiac, IL. She survives in Chenoa.
Also surviving are his mother; Mary Bagley, Weston, five children; Connie (Arnulfo) Carranza, Dwight, Larry (Sherry) Bagley, Chenoa, Gale (John) Drew, Dwight, Robert Bagley (Jan Robbins), Pontiac, Todd (April) Bagley, Pontiac, one brother; Ed (Sharon) Bagley, Pontiac, two sisters; Frances Bagley and Doris (Donald) Knott both of Weston, eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, one brother and one sister.
Bud was employed by Pontiac Chair as a foreman for over 20 years then working for Prairie Central COOP, Weston for over 20 years. He built his home from the ground up, enjoying the outdoors, NASCAR and working with his hands. Whatever the need, he was always there for his family and friends who will miss him deeply.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be directed to the American Heart Association.
