Gridley – William J. Colvin, Jr, 83, of Gridley, passed away at 4:35pm, April 7, 2016, at Heartland Health Care, Normal.

Cremation has been accorded.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 16, 2016, at United Methodist Church, Chenoa.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Bill was born August 27, 1932, in Saunemin the son of William and Florence Tandy Colvin, Sr.

Surviving are one son; one daughter; several nieces and nephews, Donald, Robert, and Roger Colvin, Larry (Doris) Cottrell, Jimmy (Martha) Cottrell, Ann Black, Joan (Richard) Fosdick, Bob Walston, Barb (Don) Hicks, Bobby (Olin) Colvin.

He was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.

Bill was a bartender for Fat Albert's in Gridley and was an onsite manager for Gridley Manor.
