Bloomington – William C. Denick, 80, of Bloomington formerly of Fairbury, passed away at 5:52am, October 11, 2017, at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.

His funeral will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, October 14,2017, at the Apostolic Christian Church of Bloomington-Normal. Ministers of the church will be officiating.

Burial will be in South Apostolic Christian Cemetery, Fairbury.
Visitation will be held from 4-7:00pm, Friday, October 13, 2017, also at the Apostolic Christian Church of Bloomington-Normal and 9-9:45am on Saturday.

Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or Fairview Haven Retirement Community, Fairbury.

Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.

Bill was born March 21, 1937, in Fairbury the son of Edwin Milton and Elsie Matilda Broquard Denick.

He married Shirley Bachtold on June 15, 1958, in Forrest. She survives.

Also surviving are his brother, Eugene (Karen) Denick of Tucson, AZ; niece Robin (Glenn) Davis of Tucson, AZ; and cousin, Bonnie Bach of Peoria.

Bill worked for Nussbaum Trucking for 40 years working most of that time as their operations manager. He retired in 2002.

He was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church of Bloomington-Normal.

Bill enjoyed people and never knew a stranger.

He loved the Lord with all his heart and a was a great example for the younger generations.
