Obituary
William H. Gielow, 76, of Fairbury, passed away at 1:10 pm, Sunday, March 6, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Home in Pontiac.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury has charge of the arrangements.
William was born May 17, 1934 in Melrose Park, IL the son of William E. and Jeannette (Gould) Gielow. His parents and two sisters preceded him in death.
Survivors include three sons; William (Linda) Gielow, Streamwood, IL; Craig Gielow, Addison, IL; Scott (Lynn) Gielow, New Holland, PA; sisters, Emma (John) Licko, Las Vegas, NV; Laura (Jerry) Kelly, Chandler, AZ; Neva Ruffino, Wayzata, MN; Roberta "Babe" (George) Kortas, Antioch, IL; and his garage buddy, Jim Allen, Fairbury.
Bill served our country in the US Army from 1957-1959.
