Obituary
Colfax – William "Bill" Jackson, 67, of Colfax passed away at 3:55pm, Monday, May 28, 2012 at his residence.
Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor. The Reverend Stephen Goodwin will be officiating.
Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor or American Cancer Society.
William was born August 2, 1944 in Enid, OK the son of Charles W. and Rosalee Kepford Jackson.
He married Claudine Bailey on August 14, 1969 in Denver, CO. She survives in Colfax.
Also surviving are his children, Carol (Tim) McCann of Chesapeake, VA, Judy (Mike) Murphy of Lenexa, KS, Claudia (Steve) Chandler of Olathe, KS, William Jackson II of Kansas City, MO, and Tammy (Dale Treichel) Cruz of Ada,MN; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dana (Edye) Jackson of Lovettsville, VA and Kevin (Debra) Jackson of Kansas City, KS.
William was an elisted band leader for the United States Marines and United States Army for 21 ½ years. Currently he is a computer analyst programmer with State Farm.
His is a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Anchor.
