Obituary
Arrowsmith – William Richard "Jr" Jacobs, Jr., 48, passed away April 18, 2010 at 3:56pm at his residence in Arrowsmith.
Funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 10:00am at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax. Pastor Steve Wiggins will be officiating.
Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Arrowsmith.
Visitation will be held from 5-7:00pm Monday, April 26, 2010 also at the Funeral Home.
Jr was born July 24, 1961 in Gibson City the son of William and Doris Saathoff Jacobs, Sr. His father preceded him in death.
Surviving are his mother of Colfax; daughter Natosha (Sean) Howell of Bloomington; son William Jacobs of Deer Creek; three sisters, Dee (Victor) Lancaster of Arrowsmith, Rita Turner of Anchor, and Tina Douglas of Bloomington; brother Robert Spence of Monticello; five granddaughters and one step-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Jr was a mechanic for Hafley Cranes and also worked for many years at Riddles Savage Yard.
Memorials may be made to the Family.
Jr was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved to tinker with lawn mowers.
