Obituary
William Henry Streib, 87, Fairbury died at 6:48 pm, Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, July 2, 2011 at the Apostolic Christian Church, Fairbury with the ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be in South Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery, Fairbury.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services 9:00 to 9:45 am also at the church on Saturday. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of services.
William was born December 29, 1923 in Fairbury, IL the son of Henry and Mary (Stoller) Streib. He married Dorothy Ann Zehr on September 12, 1954 in Fairbury. She survives in Fairbury.
Other survivors include three daughters, Trudy (Owen) Fagot, Fairbury; Tina (Dennis) Mielnikowski, Carpentersville; Tammy (Arnie Munz) Streib, Fairbury; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and six sisters.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
Mr. Streib was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church of Fairbury and served our country in the US Army during WWII.
