Wilma Martin, 90, of Fairbury, died October 25, 2007 at 5:05PM at Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2007 from 3-6:00 PM at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and one hour prior to the funeral services on Monday. Funeral will be held on Monday, October 29, 2007 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church, Fairbury.
Burial will be in Chenoa Cemetery, Chenoa.
Memorial may be made to Fairview Haven Nursing Home or Alzheimer's Association.
Wilma was born January 29, 1917 in Belle Prairie the daughter of Fred and Bessie Wilkerson Hutchcraft. They preceded her in death.
She married Harley R. Martin on Aug. 9, 1937 in Mount Vernon., IN. He survives.
Also surviving are six daughters, Geri (John) Wiles of Chatsworth, Norma (Franklin) Fosdick of Fairbury, Mary (Bill) Decker of Grand Rivers, KY , Deloris Meiss of Heyworth, Connie (Doug) Aberle of Lake Bloomington and LaVerne (Mark) Aberle of Chatsworth; one son Harold (Sherryl) Martin of Fairbury; four sisters, Wanda Lowery of Wayne City, Dorothy Shell of Wayne City, Velma Dean Bailey of Fairfield and Eva (James) Bailey of Millshoals; 23 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, one son, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Wilma worked for the Shoe Factory and the Chair Factory both in Pontiac; she later worked for Fairview Haven Nursing Home for 19 years.
