Wilma R. Sechrest, 66 of Chenoa, died at 6:08pm, Sunday, June 14, 2020 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

A private family burial will take place at Chenoa Twp. Cemetery, Chenoa.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Livingston County Humane Society, American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.

Wilma was born on March 5, 1954 in Crawford Co., IL, a daughter of Donavan and Cora Crum Sechrest.  Her parents preceded her in death.

Survivors include her siblings, Roland (Glenda) Sechrest of Clermont, FL, Donna Hanna of Chenoa, Sharon (Rev. Jim) Farney of Frankfort, IN, Marvin (Bonnie) Sechrest of Chenoa and Myrna (Quentin) Huette of Fairbury; many nieces and nephews and her kitty cat, Sputnic.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Paul Sechrest, two brothers-in-law, Herbert Norfleet and Dale Hanna and one nephew.

Wilma was a member of Pilgrim Holiness Church, Bloomington.  She worked as a CNA for over 30 years at Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community, Chenoa, Fairbury Hospital and worked at Livingston Manor as both a CNA and the head cook.  Wilma never forgot birthdays and holidays.  She loved sending cards.  She loved organizing holiday dinners and getting everyone together.
